Its emergence is thanks to the efforts of its sheikhs, including the most famous sheikhs of the Levant: the Mujahid Sheikh Izz al-Din al-Qassam, and Sayyed Ahmed al-Dadassi.

Sheikh Muhammad Izz al-Din al-Qassam: Muhammad Izz al-Din al-Qassam was born in the town of Jableh in the year 1300 AH, corresponding to 1883 AD. He studied at Al-Azhar al-Sharif, completed his studies in Türkiye, and then returned as a teacher, lecturer, and preacher. Sheikh Izz al-Din al-Qassam had relations with scholars of the Tijaniya order, including Sheikh Sidi Muhammad Abd al-Malik ibn al-Alami, who introduced him to the house of Sidi Ahmed al-Tijjani. Sheikh Izz al-Din al-Qassam became a scholar of the Tijaniya order, who adhered to the Qur’an and the Sunnah.
